Rated at 50 MVA, this three-phase oil-immersed transformer steps 110–230 kV down to 20, 35 or 66 kV, purpose-built as a step-up/step-down unit for large solar-PV plants and utility substations. Manufactured to IEC 60076 with a sealed steel tank, radiator cooling and a conservator oil-expansion system, it provides efficient and dependable transformation for connecting renewable generation to the grid. Windings are offered in copper or aluminium.
The tank carries high-voltage porcelain bushings, a top-mounted conservator for oil expansion, side radiator banks, and a cabinet for monitoring and protective equipment. Purpose-built for solar-PV interconnection, the oil-immersed design maintains efficient cooling and stable insulation for dependable transmission-class performance.
Fits solar-PV and other renewable-energy plants, utility and industrial substations, and transmission/distribution networks needing 110–230-kV-class transformation.
Capacity, HV/LV voltage, vector group, tap-changer type, cooling class and fittings can be matched to a project's single-line requirements.
The rated capacity is 50 MVA, with an input voltage of 110 / 230 kV. Other ratings in the same series are quoted on request.
