Rated at 500 kVA and 1000 kVA, this fully sealed three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer steps 11 kV down to 400 V. A sealed tank with corrugated fins keeps the oil from oxidizing and removes the need for topping-up, giving the unit a low-maintenance 20 to 30 year service life for outdoor substation and distribution use. Copper or aluminium windings are available, built to IEC and GB standards.
A hermetically sealed steel tank ringed with corrugated cooling fins keeps the transformer oil shielded from outside air, resisting oxidation and moisture while dissipating heat effectively. HV porcelain bushings and LV terminals sit on the tank cover, and pressure-relief plus oil-level protection is built into the structure. The result is stable, low-loss operation that needs very little routine attention.
Utilities, industrial plants, mining operations, oil fields, commercial complexes, and rural electrification networks all rely on this transformer for outdoor and indoor power distribution wherever dependable step-down from medium voltage is needed.
Capacity, voltage ratio, vector group, winding material (copper or aluminium), tap changer type (off-load or on-load), and bushing configuration can be tailored to project needs.
The rated capacity is 500 kVA & 1000 kVA, with an input voltage of 11 kV. Other ratings in the same series are quoted on request.
