This fully (hermetically) sealed three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer steps 10 kV down to 400 V and is offered from 630 kVA through 1250 kVA, sitting within a wider product range of 15 kVA to 31500 kVA and 6 kV to 35 kV. Corrugated fins on the sealed tank keep the oil from oxidizing and remove the need for topping-up, delivering a low-maintenance 20 to 30 year service life suited to outdoor substation and distribution work. Copper or aluminium windings are available, built to IEC and GB standards.
A hermetically sealed steel tank with corrugated cooling fins keeps the transformer oil isolated from outside air, guarding against oxidation and moisture while dissipating heat effectively. The tank cover holds high-voltage porcelain bushings and low-voltage terminals, and pressure-relief along with oil-level protection is built into the design. The outcome is stable, low-loss operation that asks very little of routine servicing.
Utilities, industrial facilities, mining operations, oil fields, commercial complexes, and rural electrification networks turn to this unit for both outdoor and indoor power distribution wherever dependable step-down from medium voltage is required.
