This 250 kVA single-phase oil-filled transformer adds CSP (Completely Self-Protected) circuitry to the standard pole-mounted platform, stepping 7.2 kV down to 120–240 V or a custom secondary. Internal protection handles overload and fault conditions on its own, while the sealed cylindrical tank is built for outdoor utility-pole service — copper or aluminium windings, certified to IEC and other recognized standards.
High-voltage porcelain bushings sit on the cover of the sealed cylindrical steel tank, low-voltage terminals are mounted to the side, and brackets are ready for direct pole attachment. The CSP feature bundles internal fusing and overload protection right into the unit, and because the tank is oil-filled and hermetically sealed, the windings are shielded from moisture while the oil handles cooling — giving reliable, largely maintenance-free single-phase service.
Overhead distribution lines for residential neighborhoods, rural electrification, farms, streets and light-commercial loads where self-protected single-phase pole-mounted step-down is needed.
Capacity, HV/LV voltage, winding metal, bushing type and mounting hardware can be tailored to local grid standards, ANSI and IEC among them.
The rated capacity is 250 kVA, with an input voltage of 7.2 kV (or custom). Other ratings in the same series are quoted on request.
