Its sealed cylindrical tank is shaped for outdoor utility-pole duty, and copper or aluminium windings, together with IEC and related certifications, make it a strong fit for higher-capacity residential, rural and light-commercial distribution.
The sealed cylindrical steel tank carries its high-voltage porcelain bushings on the cover and low-voltage terminals on the side, with brackets built in for direct pole mounting. Being oil-filled and hermetically sealed keeps the windings free of moisture while the oil manages cooling, delivering dependable single-phase performance to IEC 60076 with little maintenance required.
Overhead distribution feeders for residential neighborhoods, rural electrification, farms, streets and light-commercial sites where a higher-capacity single-phase pole-mounted step-down is called for.
Capacity, HV/LV voltage, winding metal, bushing style and mounting hardware can be adapted to regional grid standards including ANSI and IEC.
